Quality without compromise

The Story of Wulura

The Wulura vineyard and farm nestles in countryside so pristine and beautiful you can understand the urge to bottle it.

Situated at 888 Wildwood Road, Yallingup, it is a family-owned property of 650 hectares stretching towards Geographe Bay and the spectacular Indian Ocean coast.

Wulura Farms has developed a reputation as one of the finest - and largest - wine-growing estates in the Margaret River region.

The current operations at Wulura started in 1998 with a program to plant vines and olive trees to go with the sizeable herd of Murray Grey beef cattle, making it one of the most substantial diversified farming operations in the district.

There are currently about 6000 olive trees, 600 head of Murray Grey cattle and 88 hectares of vines on the property alongside kangaroos, birds and bushland and several family homes.

"Attention to detail" is the way of life for Vineyard and Farm Manager, Brad Harnett, and anyone who visits will see an immaculate property tended and groomed to perfection. Such meticulous care is reflected in the quality of Wulura's fruit.

The name Wulura links two Aboriginal words - wulu (keep) and ra (forever), so Wulura means literally "to keep forever". This reflects a love of the land that endures forever.

Wulura is the name of our vineyard, olive grove and farm.

Wulura is also the brand name of our premium wines and olive oils.
